About the Job

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and the desire to learn something new every day, as well as the motivation to learn about the automotive industry. You are service-minded, stress-resistant, and a problem solver. Basic knowledge of vehicles is desirable, or alternatively, a strong interest in the automotive industry. The position offers you a workplace with various tasks and new challenges every day. You will, among other things, deliver parts to our customers (a B driver's license is required), work in the store selling over the counter, and pick up incoming spare parts. Mechanics looking to change careers are a plus as some customers request certain support. You will meet both private and corporate customers and learn to build new business relationships. You will also handle some delivery of spare parts to our own mechanics. Your tasks will also include keeping the store stocked and presentable, handling orders, inventory, returns, complaints, registrations, and searches in databases (spare parts catalogs), etc. We also work with hydraulics, so experience in this area is considered an asset.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an interest in vehicles and sales. To succeed in this role, you should have good computer skills and be quick to learn new systems. It is advantageous if you have some knowledge of business systems and web-based spare parts catalogs. Previous experience as a parts person, mechanic, or service advisor/customer representative is seen as an advantage.

A B driver's license is required.

It is important that you are attentive and can meet the customer's wishes. You have good administrative skills and enjoy learning new things. You have strong verbal communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You need to be self-motivated and have a flexible working style where you can work towards multiple goals simultaneously, even under time pressure.

About the Company

Bilxtra Nybro is the name of the store as we are part of the Bilxtra franchise concept. The company is called Autoteknik & Hydraulik Nybro AB and includes both a car parts store, a workshop for heavy machinery, and a hydraulic workshop.
